Twitterpated

Do you remember the Disney movie Bambi? Well, this past week on Facebook a number of my friends switched their profile pics to Cartoon Characters and I joined in today... It's supposed to go through December 6th, but I'm going to leave mine up a week more since I came to the party late. Here is my favorite scene from the movie Bambi:







This post is meant to send a message about childhood memories and the children of this world that have their childhood memories marred by the scars of child abuse. Shall we link arm and arm through our favorite cartoon characters and say it's not okay for children to be abused. This idea stemmed from FB but we can keep it going online through blogs, through twitter, through our family and friends. My profile pic will be Thumper until December 12th - will you join in?
